Pine Mountain Trail Wildflower Hike

$5.00 State parking pass fee per vehicle.
May the fourth be with you!  Wear your favorite Star Wars attire while we hike through mountain laurel blossoms.  Bring your camera and wildflower guide for the ramble to Cascade Falls.  This is a moderate 4.2 mile in and out hike.  An optional additional miles hike will continue past Cascade Falls and cover a moderate to strenuous 6.7 mile Wolf Den Loop.  Both begin at WJSP tower near Warm Springs.  Free.

National Kids to Park Day: Crawdad Crawl & Turtle Tickle

$5.00 State parking pass fee per vehicle.
John instructors and celebrate the out of doors at Georgia's largest State Park.  This Junior Ranger Road trip allows participants to interact with nature and discover the wonders of stream inhabitants and one of our favorite reptiles, turtles.  Meet at Liberty Bell Pool Parking lot on Hwy 354.  Attend one program at 11:00 AM, eat lunch and switch programs at 1:00 PM.  Geared towards families with children ages 5 & up.  Wear play clothes and shoes that can get dirty.  Bring your picnic lunch to eat at the picnic areas.  Preregistration and prepayment highly suggested or correct change at the start.  $5 per person.
