Terry Huddleston graduated from Columbia High School in 1973. He attended Lake City Community College and was a member of the Track and Cross Country Teams from 1973-1975. He transferred to Valdosta State College and graduated in 1978 with a BS degree in Education and his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 1986.
Terry began teaching at Columbia High School in 1979. Since then he has taught math, dropout prevention, served as the Dropout Coordinator for the district, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal and Principal for over 20 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels. This past November, he attained his career goal by being elected Superintendent of Schools.
He is married to Nancy Coglon Huddleston. He has two daughters and two twin grandsons.
