The Lake City Lions Club was organized on December 9, 1946.
Lions have a mission to empower volunteers, to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
The Lake City Lion’s Club focuses on eye sight conservation in Columbia County and provides screenings and new glasses to underprivileged Columbia County residents through various fundraisers.
The Lake City Lion's Club chapter meets at the Lake City Country Club every Tuesday at 7:30 pm with dinner service included. Each Tuesday a program is presented to the club by a sponsored member to include other service organizations, businesses, and entities.
The Lake City Lion's Club welcomes new members and guests to join in the organizations mission for Lake City and Columbia County residents.
Just imagine if every Lion, 1.35 million, asked one person to join their club...
Now imagine how much more Lions could do and how many more people they could serve!
If asked today, would you join?
